For true believers, blockchain technology is poised to continue to disrupt and revolutionize every aspect of our lives, especially when it comes to finances, how we do business, and how we have fun. The boom of Decentralized Finance (DeFi) has taken the crypto space by storm and made waves in every industry. Following this, the Doge Project’s first project will be taking the next step in the evolution of DeFi, with web3’s first NFT exclusive decentralized lottery system, combining two of the hottest commodities that have been disrupting mainstream industries.

Adopting the use of smart contracts and blockchain technology provides a solution for the most crucial problems in the online gambling/betting/entertainment industry, such as rigged results, low payouts, lack of transparency due to the lack of information, and, consequently, lack of trust. It is important to clarify, this will be Doge Project's first project, but not its only. Doge Project looks to further pursue projects that the to bring the community value and create a fun and engaging ecosystem.

But we are not stopping there. There is a ton of value in the exclusive decentralized lottery, but we wanted to continue building further. For a brighter and more transparent future. The second project will be building a property in the Metaverse were the community can meet, interact, and compete against each other for weekly prizes. Staying with the retro theme of the Doge Project, this Metaverse property will be designed and modeled after an arcade. Black lights, bright colors, all the fun and nostalgia of the classic arcade experience.

Dogecoin may be, at its core, just a shared ledger. A database and network to add entries in the form of virtual coins. It isn't dissimilar than bitcoin (except better in everyway). But, where it truly separates itself, is on how people choose to use it and value its functionality, and most importantly, the communities built around it. Community is the essence of decentralization. That is where Dogecoin, represented by the doge meme mascot, stand heads and tails above the rest. We want to continue to foster that idea and goal.
